I've literally been going here since I was a kid (there were a few door down previously). Literally one the best places for a group that wants good kebabs and good vegetarian food. I came after they reopened many years ago and they lived up to their original tastes. If you like kebabs or vegetarian Indian food this is one of the best options in Toronto.

I don't understand the low ratings on this place, it's amazing!
If you're looking for some good halal Indian eats in Toronto, look no further!
After visiting the real Chandni Chowk in Delhi, India , this place is the real deal! Yes the appearance is not the best, but it's a lot better than its previous location (also on Gerard st). I've been going to this place since I was a kid and the quality has been consistently great! I usually opt for the foot-long kabob but I e also tried the chickpea curry and some rice dishes (which were actually given to me complimentary when visiting with a large group).
The naan is cooked perfectly in the tandoor oven, and the foot long kabobs are so juicy and amazing! It is a bit on the spicy side so keep that in mind! If you get takeout don't forget to add some onions and spicy red and sweet green sauce for extra flavour! The prices are decent although they've gone up in recent years. Quality is just as amazing as I remember though. Definitely worth it!
All in all some really great Indian food in Toronto! -

This my go to place when I'm in Toronto! I live in Los Angeles CA. I first ate here back in 2004, they got the best seek Kabab I've ever had period! I believe it's ground lamb. Been too long since I been there. Can't wait to bring my wife and kids by when we visit Toronto in the summer of 2020

So I was walking down Gerrard St trying to kill time in between meetings and stumbled upon this place. Being rather bored of Lahore Tikka House (mostly due to its decline in quality and taste) I decided to give this place a try.
First impressions wouldn't leave you "speechless" so to speak, but if you can overcome the basic and dilapidated decor you're in for a real treat! I ordered the foot long kebab and naan as it was highly recommended to me by fellow Yelpers and the owner himself. The kebab and naan was made to order, something I appreciated as that doesn't usually happen anymore; however this caused my meal to take some time to make. Once I got my meal I was very happy with the taste and quality, both the naan and kebab tasted phenomenal. I unfortunately didn't get to try anything else as they were closing midday for religious reasons (they close around 2pm on Fridays for prayers). I intend to back one day and sample other things on their menu as this place does look somewhat promising. -

I came here for the lunch buffet because I was famished after a hot yoga class next door. It was probably the worst buffet I've ever been to because the selection was so limited. The butter chicken was the only thing I enjoyed. The service was OK; the server was very nice, but he didn't clear any dirty plates until the very end. They only had cubed watermelon and honeydew for dessert. I probably won't be back.
